PWC SUPERFINAL - TASK 4

Another good day of racing in Valle de Bravo saw a 118.5km race to goal set, and 62 pilots in goal. First in and top of the day’s rankings was Luc Armant (FR, Ozone EnZo), and joint second in the day’s results were Marc Wensauer (DE, Ozone EnZo) and Peter Neuenschwander (CH, Ozone EnZo).
Andre Rainsford commented on his blog: “Such is the intensity and competitiveness of this field that after 114km with several gaggle splits, lead changes, complicated transitions and desperate scratching only five minutes separated the first 44 pilots.”
With fewer pilots in goal than we have seen in the previous tasks, Petra Slivova was the only woman who made it in on task four. She retains her overall first place in the women’s rankings.Venezuelan Juan Carlos Becerra Gonzalez is now top of the overall table, before Frenchmen Lucas Bernardin and Jean-Marc Caron. France are still the leading nation.
Seiko’s missing task results seen yesterday was just a small glitch in the scoring system which has now been rectified, and she is back up in second place in the overall women’s rankings.
