PARAGLIDING WINTER CUP
PARAGLIDING WINTER CUP is the name of a competition in south Slovenia and Istra (Croatia), where conditions allows us to have paragliding competitions even in the winter time with disciplines up to 100km!
There will be 5 main events in this winter season. For first four unofficial events we will select only 1 day (saturday or sunday), we have reserve dates as well. 5th event will be OFFICIAL 4-DAYS FAI2 COMPETITION (24th - 27th March).

INFORMATION FOR OFFICAL 4-DAYS COMPETITION PARAGLIDING WINTER CUP DATE: 24th March (Saturday) - 27th March (Tuesday) 2012
COMPETITION AREA: Lijak, Nova gorica
ENTRY FEE: 55 EUR

registration: friday, 20.00 - 22.00 (Hotel Siesta), saturday 9.30 - 11.00 (landing)
transport to the take-off: 9.30 - 11.00

HQ - COMPETITION OFFICE
Registration to the competition will be at hotel Siesta (on Friday). On saturday the registration will be at the landing.
In hotel Siesta you may use special 5% discount (for the competitors and their families) during your stay. Double room with discount: cca 23.30 eur + touristic tax 1 eur /person (breakfast included), cca 20.50 eur + touristic tax 1 eur / person (without breakfast).

ENTRY FEE
10 EUR for organization of the PARAGLIDING WINTER CUP EVENTS (for all events) + 15 EUR for each competition day - transport to the take off and retrieval is included!
AWARDS
Practical awards for top pilots daily in classes (open -EN D, sport - EN C, ultra - EN B), trophies and practical awards to top 3 at 4-days FAI-2 official competition (open -EN D, sport - EN C, ultra - EN B), and overall results PARAGLIDING WINTER CUP (open -EN D, sport - EN C, ultra - EN B).
RULES

3. Overall ranking - all the tasks will be counted this year, no discards will be used.
4. The competitors need a license for paragliding pilots, they also need a FAI licence (not neccesary for OLC competition). Wearing a helmet, a VHF radio and carrying a rescue glider are obligatory, a celullar phone is strongly advised. Flying is at your own risk!

2. All flights with take-offs in Europe will be counted, the flights must be published to SLOVENIAN OLC.
3. The flights at pre-selected days from pre-selected take-offs will be multiplied by 2: we will announce those dates and take offs at www.slo-paragliding.com at least 3 days before the date.
4. Seven best scored flights will be counted for the final result of each competitor (the best one each month).
5. There is no need to sign in for the competition.
